0,400011 -Na <br />wpublicworks <br />Parks, & Open, Spacz <br />ZM"JITLOTM <br />Date: July 1, 2016 <br />To: Kurt Corey, Public Works Executive Director <br />From: Kevin Foerstler <br />Subject: Granting authority for Advanced Security Incorporated to issue Park Notice of Restriction of Use <br />Kurt, please review and sign this authorization for Advanced Security Incorporated (ASI) to issue Park <br />Notice of Restriction of Use under contract 2013-05307 Amendment 415 -Park Patrols. <br />Advanced Security Incorporated (ASI) is under contract with the City of Eugene, Parks and Open Space <br />Division (contract # 2013-05 307, Amendment #S) to provide park patrols to generate voluntary <br />compliance with Park Rules. In order to effectively generate compliance with rules, it is necessary for the <br />contractor to be able to issue Notice of Park Restriction of Use when rule violators are not cooperative, <br />Park Rule 1.005 Enforcement provides authorization for City personnel or police officers to enforce rules. <br />As a contracted agent to provide this enforcement, Advanced Security will be operating as an agent of the <br />City. When acting in the capacity as an agent of the City under contract 0201.3-0530:7, ASI is hereby <br />authorized to issue Park Notice of Restriction of Use as prescribed in Rule 1.005(3) (a) or (3)(b). <br />Dated this udayof V.
