<br />s~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8630 <br />An Ordinance vacating the following described area, to-wit: ~ <br />I <br />Baker Boulevard in Onyx Flat, an Addition to the City of Eugene. <br />4JHEREAS, Heretofore and on the 27th day of November, 1939, the Common <br />'Council of the City of Eugene passed an Ordinance setting a hearing for January 8, i <br />1940, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Eugene, at which time <br />hand place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to the vacation of the <br />I~following premises, to-wit: <br />Baker Boulevard in Onyx Plat, an Addition to the City of Eugene. <br />and <br />V'iHEREAS, hearing was held pursuant to said Ordinance in the City Hall in <br />the City of Eugene on the 8th day of January, 1940, at 7130 o'clock p.m. and at said <br />time the Council heard alI objections, and <br />WHEREAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said street have consent <br />said vacation and have applied for said vacation, it being the purpose of said <br />cation to make the property in said block suitable for building sites, <br />Now, Therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:_ <br />Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and <br />egal notice of the said hearing was published and posted as required by law; that <br />o valid objection to said vacation has been made at said hearing', or filed; that <br />he consent of the owners of the abutting property, properly acknowledged, has <br />een filed in said proceeding; and,that the public interest will not be prejudiced <br />v the vacation of said street. <br />Section 2, That the following described area, to-wit: <br />Baker Boulevard in Onyx Plat, An Addition to the City of Eugene <br />e and the same is hereby vacated, and the area so vacated, being a street, shall <br />evert to the abutting property pursuant to the statutes of the state of Oregon. <br />Section 4. The Recorder be and he is hereby directed to file a certified <br />opy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County, together with a map <br />r plat of said property, and that a certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed <br />ith the County Assessor, and another certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed <br />ith the County Surveyor. <br />sed by the Common Council <br />is 8th day of January, 1940 <br />corder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />9th day of January, 1940 <br />Lsf Elisha Lame <br />Mayor <br />
