I <br />94 <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8652 <br />An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4846 entitled: <br />"AN ORDINANCE creating a City Planning Commission, and <br />providing and adopting certain rules and regulations for <br />the government and maintenance of said City Planning <br />Commission within the City of Eugene, Lane County, Ore- <br />gon, prescribing the powers and duties of said commission, <br />and providing for the payment of the expenses of said City <br />Planning Commission." <br />passed by the Common Council and approved by the Mayor on the 25th day of May, <br />1925, by adding Section 14 thereto. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 4846 entitled: <br />"AN ORDINANCE creating a City Planning Commission, and <br />providing and adopting certain rules and regulations for <br />the government and maintenance of said City Planning <br />Commission within the City of Eugene, Lane County, ,_ <br />Oregon, prescribing the powers and duties of said <br />commission, and providing for the payment of the expenses <br />of said City Flanning Commission." <br />passed by the Common Council-and approved by the Mayor on the 25th day of 1Viay, <br />1925, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 14 which shall <br />read as follows: <br />"Section 14. The City Planning Commission is hereby given <br />all rights and powers provided in Chapters XVI and RVII of <br />Title 56 of the Oregon Code Annotated 1930, together with <br />all amendments thereto." <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 22nd day of July, 1940 <br />/s/ C.
