it) 4 <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8661 <br />I <br />,~ <br />passed <br />j <br />An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled: <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the~ity into Distrticts within i~~ <br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall ~~ <br />be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, !~ <br />or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the ~;~ <br />height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing <br />for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof." ~ <br />by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the TVlayor April 9, 1935. <br />~tdHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene <br />,the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />;thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report <br />and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be <br />enacted into an ordinance, <br />Now, Therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOIi~JS: <br />' Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled: <br />~~ <br />l <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts II <br />within some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain II <br />buildings, ~r to ,carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />~~ which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing <br />for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof." I~ <br />P <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the jti1a.yor April 9, ~~ <br />'1935, be and the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify a certain area in the <br />following particulars: <br />That the classification of Lots 71, 72, 73, and 74, Foster's Addition <br />to Eugen e, Lane County, Oregon, be and the same is hereby changed frc~ a <br />single family residence district to a light industrial district. <br />t <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to <br />'cause the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in <br />classification of area and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in <br />;single family residencd zones. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 12th day of November, 1940 <br />C.
