1~0 <br />IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE <br />Ordinance IVo. 8665 <br />An Ordinance to construct a concrete sewer extending South from Cheshire <br />Street in the alley between Lincoln and Lawrence Streets and serving the hereinafter <br />,described property, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~JS: <br />~ Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon, does hereby declare its intention to improve the following described pro <br />to-wit: <br />Beginning at a point in the North line of Clark Avenue Vilest 66 feet <br />North and 160 Peet Vvest of the Northeast corner of Lot .1, Block 1, <br />Shelton's Addition to the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon; <br />running thence North 103 feet, thence East 53 feet, thence South 103 <br />feet, thence West 53 feet to the place of beginning, all in Eugene, <br />Lane County, Oregon, <br />Iby constructing a sewer as above described and making such other and further ', <br />!improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper to a ~, <br />(properly constructed sewer all in accordance vaith the plans and specifications to <br />+be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />' Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be <br />(borne by the property abutting upon said improvement, and there shall be included <br />has a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon <br />not to exceed five per cent of the contract price therefor. <br />I~I Section 3.
