<br />ORDINANCE 8699
<br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
<br />TMAn Ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within
<br />some of which it shall be lawful, and vdithin others of which it
<br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
<br />buildings, or to carry on certain traders or callings, or within
<br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited
<br />~~ and ,providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty
<br />~ for the violation thereof."
<br />passed by the ComTnon Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Iviayor April 9,
<br />1935.
<br />V~~REAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
<br />the City Planning Comn~ssion has prepared a tentative report and held hearings
<br />thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report
<br />and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be
<br />enacted into an ordinance,
<br />Now, Therefore,
<br />TI-~ CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AU FOLLO~JIS;
<br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:
<br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
<br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it
<br />shall be unlawf ul to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
<br />buildings, or to carry on certain trUdes or callings, or within
<br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited
<br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for
<br />the violation thereof."
<br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9,
<br />1935, be and the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify a certain area in the
<br />following particulars:
<br />That the classification of:
<br />Lot 6, and the ~^~est 24.8 feet of Lot 7, Block 3, Gdallis Dorris
<br />Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />The area lying between t~~lillamette Street and fiilyard Street
<br />and North of 19th Avenue, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.

<br />Lot 2, and the North half of Lot 3, Block 3$, Gross Addition
<br />to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />Lot 8, Block 22, College Hill Park Addition to Eugene, Lane
<br />County, Uregonl
<br />The East 44 feet of Lot 5 and the ,Vest 16 feet of Lot 6, Block
<br />4, ti~allis Dorris Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon;
<br />be and the same are hereby changed froth single family residence districts to mul-
<br />tiple family residence districts.
<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause

<br />the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classificat
<br />of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildin~,s in single fa7lily
<br />residence zones.
