1`70 <br />Section 7. Auctioneers of. the Fourth class shall be those who sell at <br />auction any personal property within the City of Eugene other- than that men- <br />tinned in Classes One, Tw o, and Three of this ordinance, and auctioneers of the <br />fourth class shall pay a license fee of y~~`'15.00 for each four months, payable in <br />advance commencing January first, 11~iay first, acid September first, of each year. <br />Section 8. No auctioneer shall ring a bell or permit the same to be <br />rung in, about,. or in front of the premises where he is conducting a sale, <br />before, after or during said sale, or on the streets; neither shall he permit <br />singing, music,or loud noises to made for the purpose of attractions, unless he <br />or they shall obtain a permit for. the same from the City Recorder, for which <br />permit he or they shall pay a fee of X2.50 per day for each person so ringing <br />a bell or singing,, playing, or performing. <br />Section 9. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the <br />provisions of this ordinance shall be subject, upon conviction in the City <br />Recorder's Court, to a fine not exceeding X50.00 for each offense, and in <br />default of payment of such fine shall be imprisoned one day for each X2.00 of <br />the fine unpaid.; and the license so granted shall be f orfeited. <br />Section 10.
