<br />~3~~~ <br />ORDINANCE Tv o . 8812 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitl <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within <br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing fora penalty for <br />the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935 and approved by the Mayor April <br />9, 1935. <br />~~"~tHEREAB, under the direction of the Common Council of the. City of <br />Eugene the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held <br />hearings thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and <br />permanent report and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommenda- <br />tion that the same be enacted into an ordinance, <br />Now, Therefore, <br />THE-CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIi~•~ AS FOLLOt~%S: <br />Section l.~ That ordinance No1~8413 entitled: <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within <br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and }providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935 andapproved by the Nlayor April <br />9, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended that all of the area north of <br />13th Avenue V~~est and east of Charrlbers street, nova classificed as single <br />family residence is reclassified as multiple family residence district so <br />that the entire area is either multiple family residence district or some <br />heavier classification; all multiple family shall be subject to the sixty per <br />cent limitation. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to <br />cause the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413~to shova the foregoing changes <br />in classification of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to <br />buildings therein. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 26 day of February, 1945. <br />/s/ John Fields <br />recorder pro tem <br />Approved by the Eugene City Planning Commission <br />January 19, 1945. <br />/s/ ~;.
