I <br />31.0 <br />Ordinance No. 8813 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled: <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within <br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it <br />• shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for ,ti <br />the violation. tYiereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935 and approved by the lJlayor April 9, <br />1935. <br />~1HEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent <br />report and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the <br />same be enacted into an ordinance, <br />Nova, Therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGElV'E DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOV'JS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance Ivo.r8413 entitled: <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into district within <br />some of which it shall be lawf ul, and within other of which it <br />shall be unlawf ul to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April <br />9, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended so as to establish a"il of the <br />territory recently annexed to the City of Eugene which lie south of 7th avenue <br />TiVest, as a single family residence zone; and to establish all of the area north <br />of 7th avenue Blest in the annexed territory as light industrial zone. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and is hereby directed to cause the <br />map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classifi- <br />cation of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in a <br />single family residence zones. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 20 day of February 1945. <br />/s/ Sohn Fields <br />recorder pro tem <br />Approved by the Eugene City Planning Commission <br />January 19, 1945 <br />/s/ M.
