<br />An Ordinance amending Section 13 of Ordinance No. 9413 of the City of Eugene,
<br />
<br />entitled:
<br />
<br />"An ordinanoe to oreate or divide the City into districts within some of which
<br />it shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to ereot,
<br />oo~struct, alter or maintain certain building, or to carry on certain trades or
<br />callings, or within the height and bulk; of future building shall be limited,
<br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation
<br />thereof."

<br />Passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935.

<br />WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Eugene has made recommendations
<br />
<br />to the Common Council that the following streets, to-wit: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 11, and l3,th,
<br />
<br />as extended or to be extended into the annexed territory, shall carry the same set baok lines
<br />
<br />and oorrespond preoisely with the streets and set baok lines leading up to the annexed
<br />
<br />territory,
<br />
<br />Now, Therefore,
<br />
<br />. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:
<br />
<br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into distriots within some of whioh it
<br />shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construot,
<br />alter or maintain oertain buildings, or to oarry on certain trades or callings, or
<br />within whioh the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing
<br />for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."

<br />passed by the Common Counoil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be and
<br />
<br />the same is hereby amended that the following streets, to-wit; 5th, 6th, 7th, eth, 11th, and
<br />
<br />13th, as extended or to be extended into the annexed territory, shall carry the sarr,e set-
<br />
<br />back lines and correspond precisely with the streets and setback lines leading up to the
<br />
<br />annexed territory.

<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map
<br />
<br />attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing change in set back lines and to make
<br />
<br />any notations thereon necessary to properly explain the same.
<br />
<br />Section 3. The annexed territory referred to is the territory annexed to the City
<br />
<br />of Eugene at the election held on Deoember 20, 1944.
