3 ~ '~ <br />OFcDINA1~iCE N0. 8851 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No 8113 of the City of Eugene, entitled: <br />ttAn Ordinance to create or divide the City into <br />Districts :vithin some of which it shall be lawful, <br />and within others of which it shall be unlawful <br />to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or call- <br />ings, or within which the height and bulk of <br />future buildings shall be limited, and providing <br />for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the 4iolation thereof. <br />passed, by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, <br />1935« <br />WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of tha City of Eugene <br /> <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report <br />and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be <br />enacted into an Ordinance, <br />Now, Therefore, <br />THE CITY 0 F EUGENE ROES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No 8.13 entitled: "An Ordinance to. create or <br />•divide the City-into Districts within some of which it shall <br />- ~ -'be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful <br />to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, <br />or carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the <br />height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and <br />providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof.n <br />passed by the Common ;Coiu~.cil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Ma;~or April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended that from Oak Street West to the alley 160. feet <br />on 13th street and 80 feet South being Lot 1, Block 7, Christians Second Addition <br />to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, be and the same is hereby changed from a single <br />family residential district to a business district. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause <br />the map attached to Ordinanoe No. 81{.13 to show the foregoing changes in classification <br />of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family <br />residence zones. <br />Passed by the Common Council this Approved by the Mayor this 9th da y <br />8th day of October, 1915.
