<br />An Ordinance vacating the following described area, to-grit:
<br />Vacation of alley immediately south of ~ilock 5 Cheshire's
<br />1st Addition to 1''ugene described as follows:
<br />Bagimling at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 5
<br />Cheshire's lst Addition_to Eugene, running thence
<br />South 17 feet, thence V~iest 160 feet, thence T3orth 17
<br />feet, thence East 160 feet to the place of beginning
<br />in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />WHEREAS, heretofore and on th© 13th day of August, 1945, the Common Cauncil
<br />of the City of Eugene passed an Ordinance setting a hearing for the 8th day of October,
<br />1945, in the Council Chambers, at which time and place protests and remonstrances could
<br />be heard as to the vacation of the following premises, to-wit:
<br />Vacation of alley immediately south of Block 5 Cheshire's 1st
<br />Addition to Eugene described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 5,
<br />Cheshire's 1st ;addition to Eugene, running thence South
<br />17 feet, thence West 160 feet, thence Rtorth 17 feet,
<br />thence East 160 feet to the place cf beginning in lligene,
<br />Lane County, Oregon.
<br />and,
<br />WHEREAS, a hearing was held pursuant to said Ordinance in the Council Chambers
<br />in the City Hall in the City of Eugeno, on 1Utonday, the 8th day of October, 191.+5, at 7;30
<br />o'clock P.M. and at said time the Council heard all objections, and
<br />WHEREAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said alley proposed to be
<br />vacated have consented to said. vacation and have applied for said vacation.
<br />THE CITY OF EIIGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOPYS:
<br />Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and legal
<br />notice of said heari;~g was publichcd end posted as required by law; that no valid ob-
<br />jeetior. has been made at said hearing, or filed; that the consent of the owners of the
<br />abutting property, and consent of City Planning Commission, properly acknowledged, has
<br />been filed in said rroce®diag; and that the public interest will not be prejudiced by
<br />the vacation of said portion of alley.
<br />Section 2. That said hearing was held on the 8th day of October, 1945, at
<br />7:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
<br />and that all matters necessary to be dune have been completed.
<br />Section 3. That the following described area, to-wit:

<br />1st Addition to Eugene described as follows:
