Blower and. exhaust systems sha]_1 comply tr~ith the <br />Standards of the National Board of Fire Under+.ariters for the instal7.ation of <br />Bloarer and Exhaust Sustems for Lust, Stock and Vapor Removal. <br />2402 Provisions shall be made for the removal from the building of slabs and <br />other waste piece of wood, either as produced or at the close of each working day. <br />2403 The burning of shavings, sawdust and refuse material shall be permitted only <br />under boil-Prs, in furnaces or in properly constructed incinerators or refuse burners. <br />A11. stacks shall be provided ~~~ith suitable spark arresters. At boilers or other <br />points where sa.~frdust nr sha.vings are used as fuel a.~-masonry or concrete storage bin, <br />with raised sill, shill be -provided. <br />2404 Fire fighting equipment, either chemical extinguishers or small hose supplied <br />from a- suitable v~.~ater system, shall be ~orovided near any machine producing shavings <br />or sa~~rdust. <br />Part 25 <br />Py'NALTIFS FOF. VIOLATION <br />Any person, firm or eor-~ooration, which shall violate any of the provisions <br />of this ordinance, or fail to comply with the terms of any regulation thereunder <br />shall upon conviction in the Municipal Court, pay a fine of not to exceed $100.00 <br />and the costs of the prosecution, and nay be imprisoned in the City jail one day <br />for each $2.00 of the fine unpaid. <br />(a) The application of the above penalty shall not be held to prevent the <br />enforced re~:~oval of prohibited conditions. <br />~b~ Conflicting Ordinances Repealed.
