<br />An Ordinance vacating the f ollawing described area, to-wit:
<br />The West 5.5 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3, I.~, 5, and 6 and th.e East 5.5 feet
<br />of Lots 7, 8, g, 10, 11, aazd 12 all in ~31ock 30, .Gross Addition to
<br />Eugene, Lane County, Oregon
<br />WHEREAS, heretofore and on the 1l~th day of January, 1gl~6, the Common Council
<br />of the City of Eugene passed and Ordinance setting a hearing for March 11, lgt~~, in the
<br />Council Chambers at which time and place protests and remonstrance"s could be heard as
<br />to the vacation of the following premises to-wit;
<br />The ~dest 5.5 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3, !}, 5 and 6 and the East 5.5 feet
<br />of Lots 7, 8, g, 10, 11 and 12 all in Block 30, Gross Addition to
<br />Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.

<br />WHEREAS, a hearing was held pursuant to said Ordinance in the Council Chambers
<br />in the City Hall in the City of Eugene on Monday, the 11th day of March, 19Li.6, at 7:30
<br />o'clock P.M. and at said time the Council heard all objections, and
<br />WHEREAS, all persons awning property abutting upon said street have consented
<br />to said vacation and have applied for said vacation.

<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES Cf~DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. The Common 'Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and legal
<br />notice of the said hearing was published and posted as required by law; that no valid o
<br />objection to said vacation has been made at said hearing, or filed; that the consent of
<br />the owners of the abutting property, properly acknowledged, has been filed in said proceed-
<br />ing; and that the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of said street.
<br />Section 2. That said hearing was held on March 11, lgi~6, at 7;30 o~clock
<br />P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Ha12 in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and no
<br />objections or remonstrances were filed or made.
<br />Section 3. That the following described area, to-wit:
<br />The West 5.5 feet of 7Lots 1, 2, 3, 1a., 5, and 6 and the East 5.5 feet
<br />of Lots 7, 8, g, 10, 11, and 12 all in Block 30, Gross Addition to
<br />Eugene, Lane !County, Oregon.
<br />he amd the same is hereby vacated, and the area so vacated, being a street, shall revert
<br />to the abutting property pursuant to the statutes of the State of Oregor, reserving
<br />however, to the City the right to enter, install and maintain any public utilities deemed
<br />necessary or convenient.
<br />Section 1}. The Recorder be and he is hereby directed to file a certified
<br />copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County, together with a map~or plat
<br />of said property, and that a certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed with the
<br />County Assessor, and another certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed with the
<br />~'ounty Surveyor.
