I <br />464 <br />ORDIhTANCE N0. 8905 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. $1x.13 of the City of Eugene , entitled; <br />t <br />"An ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts <br />within some of whiah it shall be lawful, and within others <br />j of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or <br />maintain certain buildings, or carry on certain trades or <br />callings, or within which the height and bulk of future <br />buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, <br />and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935• <br />j WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report <br />and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be <br />~ enacted into an Ordinance, <br />i <br />NOW, Therefore, <br />f THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLIA9dS:: <br />Section 1. That Ordinanae No. SLa.3 entitled: <br />"An Ordin~.ce to create or divide the City into Districts <br />f within some of wh ich it shall be lawful, and within others <br />of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or <br />maintain certain buildings, or carry on certain trades or <br />callings, or t~ithin ~~~ti.i ch the height and bulk of future <br />buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, <br />`and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the follovring particulars: <br />That the classification of: <br />Both sides of Willamette Street from 13th Street of 16th Street <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residential district to a <br />business district. <br />That the classification of; <br />That property beginning at a point which is 160 feet North <br />' 66 and 3/!~ degrees West from another point which is 1089 feet <br />~ North and 885 feet West from the Southwest corner of Block <br />Three (3) Original Plat of Eugene City, Lane County, Oregon , <br />'; and running thence South 23 and 1/1~ degrees West 100 feet, <br />thence South 66 and 31.4 degrees East 80 feet; .thence North <br />23 and 1/1.~ degrees East 100 feet; thence North 66 and 3/~ <br />degrees West 80 feet to place of beginning, <br />be and•the same is hereby changed to a single family residential district. <br />That the classification of: <br />The property located on the Southeast corner of 17th and <br />Willamette Streets, being 110.5 feet on'9Pi11amette Street, i <br />312.0 feet on Seventeenth Street and 7.1x.0.5 feet on Oak <br />Street, more or less <br />be and the same is hereby changed to a business district. <br />
