<br />I J <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8911 <br />An Ordinance ar?cnding Ordinance No. 8L~12 of the City of Eugene, entitled; <br />"An Ordinanoe to cr©ate or divide the City into Districts within <br />some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which <br />it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain <br />certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, <br />or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall <br />be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing for a <br />rcn~.l~y for the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Coannon Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the P~Rayor, April 9, <br />1935• <br />WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the Cite of Eugene <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon <br />and havo adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and trans- <br />mitted the same to the City Council with reco~.ruEndation that the same be enacted into <br />an Ordinance. <br />Now, Therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 81x.13 entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City ir_to Districts within <br />some of which it shall ue ]A.wful, and within others of which <br />it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain <br />certain buildings, or 'to carry on certain trades or callings, <br />or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be <br />limited, ar_d providing for setback lines, and providing for a <br />penalty fur the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars; <br />That the classification of: <br />The property beginning at a point 200 feet South of the North <br />west corner of Lot 6 in Block 17 of the original plat of <br />Fairmount as platted and recorded on page 289 of Volume 25, <br />Lane County, Oregon Deed Records, run thence South 150.2 feet, ~ <br />thence East 160 feet, tilenee I~;orth 150.2 feet, thence West 160 feet <br />to the plaea of beginning, being a part of Lots 5 and 6 in Block <br />18 of the original plat of Fairmount of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />be and the same is hereby changed from a singly family residertie.l district to a <br />multiple family residential district. <br />That the classification of; <br />The property beginning at a point 691.l~. feet south of the <br />northwest corner of D. R. Christians, D.L.C. in Section 31, ~ <br />Tormship 17, South Range 3 West, Willamette nReridian run thence south <br />73 links; thence East 2.57 chains; thence north .73 chains; thence <br />West 2.57 chains to the place of beginning in Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon. <br />be and the same is hereby changed from a multiple family to a business district. <br />
