493 - --- ORDINANCE N0. 8918 An Ordinance vacating the following described area to-wits "Twentieth Avenue West from Lawrence Street to Washington Street; The alley running north ans south through Block !~, College Hill Park Addition, from Nineteenth Avenue West to Twentieth Avenue West; The alley running North and South through Block 10, Colle ge Hill Park Addition, from Twentieth Avenue West to Twenty- first Avenue West." WHEREAS, heretofore and on the 13th day of May, 191.6, the Common Council of the City of. Eugene passed an ordinance. setting a hearing on the 8th day of July, 19l~6, in the Council Chambers, at which. time and place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to the vacation of the following premises, to=wits "Twentieth Avenue West from Lawrence Street to Washington Street; The alley running north and sourth through Block r, College Hill Park Addition, from Nineteenth Avenue West to Twentieth Avenue West; The alley running North and South through Block 10, College Hill Park Addition, from-Twentieth Avenue West to Twenty- first Avenue West." and WHEREAS,.a hearing was held pursuant to said ordinance in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Eugene on Monday the 8th day of July, 19l~6, at 7:30 o~cloak P.M. and at said time the Council heard all objections, and WHEREAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said street and alleys to be vacated have consented to said vacation and have applied for said vacation. Therefore THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL09YS Section 1. The Common Co~?ncil of the City of Eugene finds that due and legal notice of said hearing was published and posted as required by taw; that no valid objection has been made at said hearing, or filed; that the consent of the owners of the abutting property, properly acknowledged, has been filed in said proceedings; and that the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of said streets and alleys. Section 2. That said hearing was held on the $th Day of July, 1916, at 7:30 oteloak P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and that all matters necessary to be dane have been completed. That the following described area, to-wits "Twentieth Avenue West from Lawrence Street to Washington Street; The alley running north and south through Block ~, College Hill Park Addition, from Nineteenth Avenue West to Twentieth Avenue West; The alley running Rlorth and South through Block 10, College Hill Park Addition, from Twentieth Avenue ~ffest to Twenty-first Avenue West." be and the same is hereby vacated and the area so vacated, being portions of streets and alleys, shall revert to the abutting property pursuant to the Statutes of the
