THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare its intention to ix~.px~c construct a sanitary se~rrer in the alley between Washington and Jef- ferson Streets, extending from 22nd Avenue West to 21~th Avenue Y~est in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper to a properly construat~d sewer all in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. Se~t,~;g~~i~at the costs of said ~~C~~hall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent to said ~l~! nexcept street intersections whichwill be paid for by the city, and there shall be included as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent of the contract price therefor. Section 3. Th the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for the said i~~~~ provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. oonstruoti n ecti n 4.
