4 9 .'7 ORDINANCE N0. 8929 , An Ordinance declaring the entire city of the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to be a fire district, and dividing the said fire distriot into three fire zones to conform to the building code heretofore adopted in and fmr the City of Eugene, and repealing all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con- flict therewith, and declaring an emergency to exist. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the entire city of the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, be and the same is here~~ declared a fire distriot, divided into three fire zones to conform to the building code in and for said City of Eugene. Seotion 2. (a) Fire Zone No. I shall comprise that part of the said City of Eugeno designated and marked as "Fire Zone 1" on the hereto attached map of said City of Eugene. (b) Fire Zone No. 2 shall comprise that part of the said City of Eugene designated and marked as "Fire Zone 2" on the hereto attached map of said City of Eugene. (c) Fire Zone No.~3 shall comprise that part of the said City of Eugene designated and marked as "Fire Zone 3" on the hereto attached map of said City of Eugene. Seotion 3. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances of said Cit y of Eugene in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereb;,~ repealed. Section !~. Whereas, the declaring and establishment of the aforesaid fire zones in said City of Eugene is necessary for the safety and preservation of Iife and property in said cit y, an emergenoy is hereby declared to exist, and it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health and safety of the City of Eugene that this Ordinance talfle effect immediately upon its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor, and it is so ordered.
