<br />~~~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8939 <br /> <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8t~13 of the City of Eugene, entitled+ <br />A "An Ordinance to create or divide the City into <br />Districts within some of which it shall be lawful, <br />and within others of which it shall be unlawful to <br />erect, construct, alter or maintain certain build- <br />ings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, <br />or within which the height ~d bulk of future <br />buildings shall be limited, and providing for sot- <br />back lines, and providing for a p~_~~.lty for the vio- <br />lation thereof.° <br />passed by the Coimrwn Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor Apri1,9, 1935• <br />WHEREAS, under tre direction of the Common ~_Council of the City of Eugene <br />theCity Planning 'Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />thereon and have adopted the tentative rapor~t as their final and permanent report <br />and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be <br />enacted into an ordinance, <br />Idow, Therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS r''dLLOW5: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance Tv'o. 81x.13 entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into <br />Districts within some of which it 'shall be lawful <br />and within others of which it shall be unlawful <br />to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or call <br />ings, or within which the height and bulk of <br />future buildings shall be limited, and providing <br />for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof.' <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, a:~d approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars; <br />That the classification of; <br />}-- <br />~Y <br />- Commencing at a point of"the north line of 8th <br />Avenue ~"Yest in Eugene at the Southeast corner of Lot 8 <br />in Block 8, Skinners Addition to Eugene, and running <br />thence Tlorth to the South line of 7th Avenuo guest <br />at the ATOrthcast corner of Lot 3 in said Block, <br />thence West along the South line of 7th Avenue to <br />the center line running North and South through <br />Lot 3 in Block 9 of said Skinners Addition, thence <br />South to the intersection of the North line of <br />11th Avenue West in Eugene with the center line of <br />the alley running North and South through Block 1 ~ <br />of Osburn~s Addition to said pity of Tugene (between <br />Lincoln and Lawrence Streets in said City , running <br />_ thence East along the North line of 11th Avenue West <br />to the center line of the alley running A?orth and South <br />between Charnelton Street and Lincoln Street in said <br />City, and run thence North along the center line of <br />said alley, if extended to its intersection with the <br />South line of 8th Avenue vuest aforesaid, and thence <br />Northeasterly= to the place of beginning. <br />be and the same is here'oy changed from multiple family residence to B-1 business <br />district. <br />
