ii nn` ~.iJ ORDINAR'CE N0. 8949 An Ordinance amending Ordinance P1o. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled: r+An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some of which it shall be lawful azd within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, .or within Vvhich the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing f or a penalty for the violation thereof .r+ passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935 'NFiEREAS, under +h e di rection of the Common Council of the City of Eugene the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and he ld hearings there- on and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be en- acted into an ordinance, Now, 'Therefore, THE CITY 0 F EUGENE ~ ES OR DAI N AS FOLLOlr9S Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled: rrAn Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some of which i~t shall be lawful and within others- of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing fo r a penalty for the violation thereof . +r passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars: That the classification of: Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Block 2, and Lots 1 and 2 in Block 3, and Lots 1 and 2 in Block 4, and Lots 21 ar~i 22 ixi Block 5 of Fairmount Addition to Eugene, and also that tract of ground bounded on the South by the North line of 13th Avenue East, and bounded on tt:e North and East by the Southern Pacific Railway right of way (Franklin Boulevard enlarged), and on the Vtest by the East line of Lot 1 in Block 2 aforesaid, (sai.d "~ tracts of land facing the intersection of 13th Avenue East and Columbia Street in said City), be and the same is hereb~* chanted from B-2 business property to R-1 single family resi- dente district. Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classification of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family residence zones.
