I will never believe that the Eugene Planning Department <br />really cares about sustainability if they do not have the protection of solar <br />access, the planting of trees and the development of urban bee habitats as part of <br />their jobs. <br /> <br />7.I won'tbelieve the council is concernedabout sustainability until they mandate the <br />useof sustainable building designsand materials and heating systems in <br />the buildings for which they grant MUPTE. It's obvious that we don't need MUPTE <br />at all, actually. If all these people are coming to Eugene, why do developers <br />need tax breaks?
