** Will Dowdy, one of the city’s urban planners, was at the Friendly Area Neighbors fall general meeting <br />to answer questions about SW-SAZ. Will didn’t know the answer to my question on what the minimum <br />and maximum number of additional multi-family dwellings that would be built if all rezoned properties <br />in the apartment/condo sections were built. So I asked him how do they know if whether or not they <br />have enough capacity to meet the 20-year goal for additional density? He responded that SW-SAZ <br />already has enough capacity to meet this goal. Incredulous, I said, “I thought that was the reason for all <br />this rezoning, to meet density requirements?”, and he responded that no, there were other reasons. I <br />was too dumbfounded to ask the real reason. <br /> <br />
