J ~ "~ <br />ORDIn1ANCE PJO`. $969 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance :~Io. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts v~rithin <br />some of which it shall be l avrful and wi thin o1~2-iers of which it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof ." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935. <br />VIHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings there- <br />on and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and <br />transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted <br />into an Ordinance, <br />NONt, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGEAtE DOES ORLAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That Ordinance P1o. 8413 entitled: <br />'~An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within <br />some of which it shall be lawful and v~rithin others of which it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain. trades or callings, or within <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof.' <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the ?~4ayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars: <br />That the classification of: <br />The East one-half of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) of Block Three <br />(3) of Shaw's Addition to Eugene <br />be and the same is hereby changed from a multiple family residence to business classi- <br />fication (B-1). <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause <br />the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classifica- <br />ti.on cf areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family <br />residence zones. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 1.3th day of January, 1947. <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />14th day of January, 1947. <br />/s/ John Fields /s/ Earl L.
