I <br />~~~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8973 <br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sewer in the <br />alley betUreen Washington ~,nd Jefferson Streets from Twenty-second Avenue to Twenty- <br />fourth Avenue. <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No 8922, <br /> <br />passed by the Common Council on the 9th day of July, 1946, and approved by the Mayor <br />thereof on the 10th day of July, 19.6, determine to construct a sewer in the alley <br />between Washington and Jefferson Streets from Twenty-second Avenue to Twrenty-x^ourth <br />Avenue-in the City of Eugene, and <br />WHEREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in <br />accordance with said ordinance and the Ia~r in such case made and provided, and the <br />costs and amount thereof to be assessed have been ascertained to be, <br />Amount Paid Contractor $1613.20 <br />Engineering 5~ 80.66 <br />Amount to be Assessed 3:~5 <br />WHEREAS, Notice of the proposed assessment to the oumers and reputed ovrners <br />of the here after designated parcels of re~a.l property having been heretofore duly <br />and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed <br />by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April 197.L~ and approved <br />by the Mayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 1914, and the Common Covsicil having <br />heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully <br />considered the same <br />THE CITY OF EU(~NE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOVdS: <br />Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a sewer in the alley betvreen <br />Washington and Jefferson Streets from Twenty-second Avenue to Twenty-fourth Avenue in <br />the City of Eugene, Oregon, is the sum of X1693.86 as aforesaid, which is by this <br />Ordinance assessed ag~.inst the pa.reels of property hereinafter described in the <br />amounts set opposite respectively. <br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the pity of Eugene, Oregon, does <br />hereby determine and assess each Iot, and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon, t o-wit ; <br />1. MARTIN F. JOHNSON AND ~ITLDA JOHNSON. <br />Lot 2 of Block 23 in College Hill Park, Lane County, Oregon as platted <br />and recorded at pages 202 and 203 of Volume 25 Lane County Oregon Deed Records X141.16 <br />2. MARTIN F. JOHNSON ATtD HULDA C. JOHNSON. <br />Lot 3 of Block 23 in College Hill Park, Lane County, Oregon as platted <br />and recorded at pages 202 and 203 of Volume 25 Lane County Oregon Deed Records X141.16 <br />3. HAROLD F. POWERS AT~TD PHYLLIS DQ. F01~YERS. <br />Lot l.a. of Block 23 in College Hill Park, Lane County, Oregon as platted <br />and recorded at pages 202 and 203 of Volume 25, Lane County Oregon Deed Records ~11~.7..16 <br />
