~~~ <br />ORDINAPICE PdO. 8976 <br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sewer on the <br />South side of Twenty-second Avenue from the alley between Vashington and Jefferson <br />Streets to ~Plashington Street, and on Washington Street from Twenty-second Avenue <br />to Twentyfourth Avenue. <br />I~tHEREAS, the Common Council of -the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. <br />8712, passed by the said Common Council on the' 26th day of January, 191.x2, and ap- <br />proved by the A4ayor thereof on the 27th day of January, 19l~2, determine to construct <br />a sewer on the South side of Twenty-second Avenue from the alley betvreen ?~~ashington <br />and Jefferson Streets to V'Cashington Street, and on Washington Street from Twenty- <br />second Avenue to Tvrenty-fourth Avenue, in the City of Eugene , and <br />1PJt-~REAS, the improvement above described aril designated has been made in <br />accordance with said ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the <br />costs and amount thereof to be assessed have been ascertained to be, <br />Amount paid Contractor X1,385.33 <br />5~ Engineering charge 69.27 <br />Amount assessed property , i.b0 <br />WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed <br />one rs of the hereafter designgted parcels of real property having been heretofore <br />duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, <br />passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 19111, <br />and approved by the P~4ayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 1911.x, and the Common <br />Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and <br />having fully considered the same, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FC1LLOl~S: <br />Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a sewer on the south side <br />of Twenty-second Avenue from the alley between ~'tashington and Jefferson Streets to <br />~Jashington Street, azid on Washington Street from Twenty-second Avenue to Twenty- <br />fourth Avenue in the City of Eugene, Oregon, is the sum of ~1,1~51.~.60, as aforesaid, <br />which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter <br />described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. <br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does <br />hereby determine and assess each lot, and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon, to-wit : <br />1. ELLUPI R. LEE AND DORTHA 1~. LEE <br />East 50 feet of Lots 7 and 8 of Block 22 in College Hill Park, Lane <br />County, Oregon, as platted and recorded at Pages 202 and 203 of Volume 25, Lane <br />County Oregon Deed Records .............................. .. .. .................... $$60.72 <br />
