I <br />~~0 <br />~ ORDIlVANCE N0. 8977 <br />1 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8113 of the City of Eugene, entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within <br />I some of which i.t ~staall be lawful, and within others of v~rhich it <br />shall be unlawful to e rect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or vaithin <br />~ which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and' providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by 'the T.iayor April 9, 1935 <br />FiHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings <br />thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and perrr~nent report <br />and transmitted the same to the City Counci 1 wi th recommendation that the same be <br />enacted into an Ordinance, <br />NO~I, TrIEREFCftE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIPd AS FOLLOW: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 81<l3, entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to create or di vide the City into Dis tricts vri.thin <br />some of which i_t shall be lawful, arxi Yri thin ®th~rs of tYhich it <br />shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain <br />buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within <br />v~ich the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, <br />and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for <br />the violation thereof ." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the l~iayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the follovring particulars: <br />That the classification of <br />Lots 11 to 18, inclusive, of I31ock 3, Riverwood Addition to <br />Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. Property located at 1st and <br />Jackson Streets, <br />be and the same is hereby charged from a single family nnsidence to light industrial <br />classification. <br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause <br />the map attached to Ordinance No. 8113, to show the foregoing change in classifica- <br />tion of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family <br />~ residence zones. <br />i <br />Approved by the ll4ayor this <br />11th day of February, 19l~7. <br />/s/ Earl L.
