~~~ ORDINANCE N0. 8983 An Ordinance adopting a schedule of charges for services rendered in the removal of garbage, as directed by Ordinance No. 8970 , THE CITY OF EUC,ENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. (a) Residences; That the schedule annexed hereto and immediately following be and the same is hereby adopted as a schedule of charges and compensation to be exacted for the ser- vices rendered by licensed garbage haulers in the City of Eugene, as required by Ordinance No. 8970 . pickups per week 2 3 F BASE PRICE PER b40NTH 35 Gallons or less Container " X0.75 1.50 2.25 DAILY EXCEPT SUNDAY The above schedule of prices applies to single container collection on regular pickup schedule from any part of the City for the container sizes and pickup frequencies indicated. 9~tTLTIPLE CONTAINER COLLECTIONS (Plumber of 35 gallon or less containers and Prices per month) pickups per week 2 1 X1.25 .25 for each additional can. 2 2.50 .25 f, ~~ ~- rf 3 3.7 5 .25 ,t ~- DAILY EXCEPT SUNDAY The above schedule of prices applies to collections of more than one container on regular pickup schedules from any part of the City for the size indicated and the pickup frequencies shown. (b) Conunercial; The rates for coQrmiercial services shall be reasonable and uniform, taking into consideration the services rendered, and shall be fixed from time to time by agreement b3tween the licensed garbage haulor and the person being served, provided, however, that any rate and compensation so fixed shall be subject to review and arbitration by the Garbage Board as provided in Ordinance No. 8970 aforesaid. Section 2. The charges and compensation set forth immediately above shall be effective commencing tivith the month of February, 191.i.7, and shall be the prevailing charge for the respective services rendered until modified or than ged by the i .__~ Common Council of the City of Eugene, provided, however, that until January 31, 19L.~8,
