I <br />~~2 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8985 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8.13 of the City of Eugene, entitled; <br />i <br />i <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into <br />Districts within some of which it shall be lawful, and <br />within others of which it shall be unlawful to <br />erect, construct, alter or maintain certain build- <br />ings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, <br />or within which the height and bulk of future build- <br />ings shall be limited, and providing for setback <br />lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation <br />thereof." <br />passed by the Common-Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935. <br />WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, <br />the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon <br />and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and trans- <br />witted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted <br />into an Ordinance, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8l~13, entitled; <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into <br />Districts within some of which•it shall be lawful <br />and within others of which it shall be unlawful to <br />erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, <br />or to carry on certain trades or callings, or vrithin <br />which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be <br />limited, and providing for setbaclt lines, and provid- <br />ing for a penalty for the violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the 1~Fayor April 9, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars; <br />That the classification of; <br />Commencing at the intersection of the south line of <br />13th Avenue West and the East line of Chambers Street, <br />running thence East along the South line of 13th Avenue <br />West 908 feet to a point 157.8 feet west of the East <br />line of Taylor Street if extended South, thence South <br />1134 feet, thence West 510 feet to the proposed State <br />Hi gharay as located, thence North 3i~.° 2~ t V'dest 657 feet <br />to the East line of Chambers Street, thence North along <br />the East Line of Chambers Street 592 feet to the place <br />of beginning, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />be and the same is hereby designated as a multiple family zone and classification. <br />Section 2.
