<br />r=iL 95 <br /> <br />IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9017 <br /> <br />An Ordinance to improve <br />Tyler street frol!l Eighth Avenue West to West Broadway, in the City of <br />Eugene, Or~gan, by integral curb concrete paving, or asphaltic concrete <br />paving, with combination curb and gutter, and grading and drainage thereof. <br /> <br />THE CITY.OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve <br /> <br />Tyler street from Eighth Avenue West to vYest Broadway in the City of <br />Eugene, Oregon, by integral curb concrete paving, or asphaltic concrete <br />paving, with combination curb and gutter, and grading and drainage thereof. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly paved street all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract price therefor. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br /> <br />, <br />Section 4.
