<br />ORDINANCE NO 9023
<br />
<br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a cement sidewalk
<br />on the South side of Twenty-fifth Avenue East from Alder Street ~o Kincaid Street,
<br />in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />Whereas, the Common Council of the City of Eugene da.d by Ordi.nanee No. 8988,
<br />passed by the said Common Council on the 10th day of March, 191.7, and approved by the
<br />Mayor thereof on the 11th day of March, 191.i.7, determine to construct a cement sidewalk
<br />on the South side of Twenty-fifth Avenue East from Alder Street to Kincaid Street, in
<br />the City of Eugene, and
<br />Whereas, the improvement above described and designated has been made i.n
<br />accordance with said Ordinance and the law in. such case made and provided, and the
<br />costs thereof arni amount to be assessed have been ascertained to bei

<br />Whereas, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed av~mers
<br />of the hereafter designated parcels of real property having iieen heretofore duly and
<br />regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed
<br />by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1911.x., and
<br />approved by the I~gayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 191~.~, anct the Common Coi.lncil
<br />having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances theroto and having
<br />fully considered the same,
<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOV~IS :
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a cement sidewalk on the South
<br />side of Twenty-fifth Avenue East from Alder Street to Kincaid Street, i.n the City of Eugene,
<br />Oregon, is the sum of X355.01, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against
<br />the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively.
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby
<br />determine and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wits

<br />Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, does hereby determine
<br />that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the
<br />oxtent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of
<br />said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land
<br />against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder
