<br />An Ordinance levying assessments for paving and improving the alleys between
<br />Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Street, in t he City of Eugene, Lane
<br />County, Oregon.
<br />Whereas, the Conunon Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 8980,
<br />passed by the said Common Council on the 10th day of February, 191i.7, and approved by
<br />the Mayor thereof on the 11th day of February, 191.i.7, determine to pave and improve
<br />the alleys between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Streets, in the
<br />City of Eugene, and
<br />Whereas, the improvement above described and designated has been made in
<br />accordance with said ordinance and the law in such ease made and provided, and the costs
<br />thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

<br />Whereas, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed oc~mers
<br />of the hereafter designated parcels of real property hav5.ng been heretofore duly and
<br />regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed
<br />by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 19].t.i., and approved
<br />by the Mayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 191I.~., and the Common Council having heard
<br />any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered
<br />the same,
<br />THE CITY OF EUCEr~ DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of paving and improving the alleys between
<br />Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Streets, in the City of Eugene,
<br />Oregon, is the sum of ~~lr.,235•16, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed
<br />against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the av~.ounts set opposite,
<br />respectively:
<br />Section 2. That"the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby
<br />determine and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
<br />to-wit
<br />1. HOFFMAN, SCHUCHART AND WRI(~iT, INC., an Oregon Corporation.
<br />_ Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 5 of r,~ulligan~s Addition West
<br />to Eugene City as platted and recorded in Vol. A, page
<br />122 of bane County Oregon Deed Records except the East
<br />F~0 feet of Lot 1, thereof, and east 54 feet of the West
<br />80 feet of said Lot 1. X1,295.43
<br />2. WALTER HOEY PlIOTORS, INC.
