~~92 <br />oRDIN~~cE No. X030 <br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. ~si~.13, of the City of Eugene, entitled; <br />" S'An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts <br />within same of which it shall be lawful, and within others <br />of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter <br />or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain <br />trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of <br />future buildings shall be limited, and providing for set- <br />back lines, and providing .for a penalty for the violation <br />thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Il2ayor, April 9, 1935. <br />WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, <br />the City P1Anning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon <br />and has adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted <br />the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same bo enacted into an <br />Ordinance, <br />NOVA, THEREFORE, THE CITY ('.~' EUGENE DOES CftDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That sub-section (b) 1~, of Section 1.~, (B-1) Business Districts; <br />of Ordinance No 8113 entitled; <br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts <br />within soma of which it shall be lawful, and within others <br />of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or <br />maintain certain buildings, Tor to carry on certain trades or <br />callings, or within which the height and bulk of future <br />buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, <br />and providing for a penalty for -the ;violation thereof." <br />passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April y, 1935, <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as .follows: <br />Cleaning establishments except those using not more than <br />two (2~ clothes cleaning units, neither of which has a <br />rated capacity of more than forth (L~0) pounds, using <br />cleaning fluid which is non-odorous as well as nonexplos- <br />ive and non-inflammable at temperatures belaev one hundred <br />thirty-eight and five tenths degrees Fahrenheit (138.5° F.), <br />provided amount and method of storage of cleaning fluids <br />shall be in accordance with the provisions of Fire Prevention <br />Ordinance No. 887LE. <br />i <br />i <br />1 <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />/ 5 ~' day of July, 19LE7. <br />~s~ Earl L.
