I 6~4 ORDINANCE N0. 9012 Are Ordinance submitting the question to the electors of the City of Eugene and to the electors of that portion of Inavale-City Outlook hereinafter described, the question "For Annexation" or "Against Annexation" of such area and ordering a special election to be held in such area and in the city of Eugene on the 7th day of October, 19t~7, designating polling places, appointing clerks and judges of election, and all acts necessary for the carrying on of the said election, and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EUUENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOPdS: Section 1. That the Common Council oi^ the City of Eugene hereby submits to the electors of the city of Eugene and to tho electors of the follot~ring described area known as Inavale-City Outlook Addition to the City o:i Eugene, to-wit; Beginning at a point on the present city limits line of the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, 17.6 feet North of the initial point of the Plat of Inavale, which beginning point is 289 feet East of the Southeast corner of County Survey X70, said Southeast corner being 12 chains South and 1Li..71 chains West of the Southeast corner of the Fielding McPJlurray D.L.C. ~6, T. 18 S.R. 3 W.W.M., in Lane County, Oregon, and running thence East 651.E feet to a point North of the Northeast corner of the said Plat of Inavale, thence South 17.6 feet, thence South 1Z.io 15t W. 1113.3 feet to the South line of Putnam Street, thence West 683.47 feet, thence South 00° IIt 1V. 1012.68.feet on the East line of Collier Street to the South line of Lakin Street, thence West 391.83 feet to the East line of University Street of the present city limits, thence North OOo 11t E. 2091.68 feet an the present city limits line t o the South line of County Survey #70, thence East on the present city limits line 692 feet to the point of beginning, all in Lane County, Oregon; the questions "For Annexation" or "Against Annexation" of such territory to the City of Eugene. Section 2. The common Council of the City of Eugene hereby orders a special election to be held in the City of Eugene, Oregon and to be held in the area described in Section I, on the 7th day of October, 1947, at which election there shall be submitted to the electors of said city and to the proposed annexation area for their approval or rejection the proposal "For Annexation" or "Against Annexation" of said area to the city of Eugene. Section 3, That said proposal shall be placed upon the official ballot by the City Recorder to be voted upon by the electors of the proposed area and by the electors of said city at said election, Section 4. The City Recorder shall provide such poll books, ballot boxes, tally sheets and such other supplies for each polling place, both within the city of Eugene and the proposed area, as are necessary for the carrying on of the election, all of which shall be delivered to the election board. Section 5. The FollaGVing are hereby designated as the polling places for said election in the City of Eugene, one to be in each precinct of said city and the follawi.ng a re hereby designated as the polling places in the proposed annexation area, and the Common Council does hereby appoint the judges and clerks to serv® in each of said polling places as herein designated, to--rrit;
