<br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a cement sidewalk on the
<br />North side of Thirteenth Avenue West between Chambers and Grant Streets, in the City of
<br />~ Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene, did by Ordinance No. 9036, passed
<br />i
<br />~ by the said Common Council on the l~+th day of July, 19+7, and approved by the Mayor
<br />thereof on July 15, 19+7, determine to construct a cement sidewalk on the North aide of
<br />I
<br />Thirteenth Avenue West between Chambers and Grant Streets, in the City of Eugene, Lane
<br />County, Oregon, and,
<br />WHEREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance
<br />i
<br />with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof
<br />t
<br />and amount t o be assessed have been ascertained to be,
<br />' Amount paid contractor, $ 121.95
<br />Engineering charge, 5~ 6.10
<br />Amount to be assessed $ 125.05
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and. reputed owners of the
<br />hereinafter designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly
<br />t
<br />given and. in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No, 1510, pa seed by the Common
<br />Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191, aad approved by the Mayor
<br />I
<br />thereof on the 21st day of April, 191, and the Common Council having heard any and all
<br />protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and havi ~ fully considered the same,
<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS EOLLGWS:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a cement sidewalk on the North side
<br />of Thirteenth Avenue West between Chambers and Grant Streets, in the City of Eugene,
<br />~' Oregon, is the sum of $125.05 as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against

<br />the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively...
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby
<br />i
<br />determine and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane Count, Oregon,
<br />to-wit:
<br />I 1. Martin J. Sperling:
<br />~ Lot 12 except the West ~0 feet, and the West j0 feet of Lot 11, Block 16,
<br />~ Chambers Addition, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, $65.05

<br />2. Albert E. and Enid Bentley:
<br />The West 40 feet of Lot 12, Block 16, Chambers Addition, in Eugene,
<br />~, Lane County, Oregon, 63.00
<br />Section j. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that
<br />each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the
<br />extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all
<br />of said. assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of
<br />land against said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City recorder
<br />to enter in the docket of City Liens, a~ statement thereof containing:
