I 6~0 ORDINANCE N0. ~0 An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a cement sidewalks on the North side of Twelfth Avenue West between Polk and Taylor Streets, in t he City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9040, passed by the said Common Council on the 11th day of August, 191+7, and approved by the Mayor thereof on August 12, 191+7, determine to construct a cement sidewalk on the North side of Twelfth Avenue West between Polk and Taylor Streets, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon; and, 4JHEREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor ~ 66.25 5~ Engineering charge 4 •QO Amount assessed property ~ 70.05 WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duly~and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved bg the Mayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same. THE CITY OF EUGII~JE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOUIS: Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a cement sidewalk on the North side of Twelfth Avenue West between Polk and Taylor Streets, in the City of Eugene, is the sum of X70.25, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against-the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: 1. LAWRENCE E. CROOK: Lot 12, Block 4, Chambers Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, ~ 70.25_ Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and' does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessedr;: and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof containing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage propebty liable for such improvement.
