<br />I', An Ordinance am~ding Ordinance No. 8413, of the City of Eugene, entitled:
<br />~~ "An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Distri cts within some of
<br />! which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
<br />~~ to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on
<br />1~ certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of futur e
<br />~i buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing
<br />~ for a penalty for the violation thereof", passed by the Common Council
<br />~{ April 8, 1935, and pproved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935, and repealing
<br />h Ordinance of said City No. and other ordinances in conflict
<br />~~ ~ herewith.
<br />fj WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the City
<br />~' Plannin Commission has
<br />~~ g prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has
<br />adopted the tentative report as their final and perman~t report and transmitted the same
<br />to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted into an Ordinance; and

<br />i U3HEREAS, Ordinance No. ,passed by the Common Council on October 14, 1947,
<br />~~'~ and approved by the Mayor on October 15, 1947, purporting to reclassify the hereinafter
<br />h
<br />~~ described real property, was irregularly passed and adopted and should be set aside
<br />~I
<br />j NQrJ, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~JS:

<br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413, entitled:

<br />passed by the Common ~ouncil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be .and

<br />j± the same is hereby amended in the following particulars:
<br />`i That the classification of:
<br />i~
<br />~' Lot 8, Block 9 of Elias Stewart's Addition to Eugene, as platted and recorded
<br />I~ at page 29 of Volume 2, Lane County Oregon Plat ftecords~
<br />~, be and the same is hereby designated as multiple family (more than four units) classification
<br />~! and zoning.

<br />I~ Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map
<br />~~,
<br />;~ attached to Ordinance No. 81x.3, to show the foregoing change in classification of areas and
<br />~;
<br />~j to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in multiple family zones.

<br />f: Section 3. That Ordinance No. of said City of Eugene aforesaid, and all
<br />..
<br />'~~ other ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
