t~, <br />- ORDINANCE NO::~ 9076 <br />An Ordinance adopting the survey, plat and report of the City Engineer as to the proposed <br />opening of Twenty-fourth Avenue East from Alder Street to Harris Street, in Eugene, Oregon. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the survey, plat aril report of the City Engineer upon the proposed <br />opening upon the proposed opening of Twenty-fourth Avenue East from Alder Street to Harris <br />Street, in Eugene, Oregon, made and filed by him with the City Recorder on November 6,~ 1947, <br />pursuant to the Resolution of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, passed on September 8, ~ <br />194?, is deemed satisfactory and is hereby adopted as so made in the words and figures following; <br />to-wit: <br />TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AD?D CONII~ION COUP~ICIL OF THE <br />1 <br />GE[JTLEMIIV: <br />CITY OF EUG~JE, OREGON <br />Pursuant to the resolution of Sept ember ~?th, 1947, I herer~~th submit a report of the <br />survey for the opening of Twent y-fourth Avenue from Alder Street to Harris Street in Eugene, <br />Oregon. I have made a survey of proposed opening an~i have marked the boundaries thereof. <br />This report contains: <br />Fi rst: A full and complete. description of such Street and boundaries thereof, and of <br />the portion of each tract of land to be appropriated therefore. <br />Second: A plat showing the pro posed opening together with adjacent property. <br />Third: The present owners of adjacent property which may be benefited by such apening. <br />1 <br />Filed with the City Recorder <br />November 6. 1947 <br />s/ Henry F. Hudson. <br />Beginning at a point 154.6 feet vrest of the northeast corner of Lot 6 of I'altman <br />Plat and running then ce north 66 feet; thence West 14 feet more or less to the <br />east line of a tract of land owner b~~ the City of Eugene; thence S. O1° O8~ Tr1. <br />along the east boundary of said tract of land owned by the City of Eugene a distance <br />of 66 feet; thence east 14 feet more or less to the place of beginning. <br />2. Cit~T of Eul~ene to the Public . for street purposes . <br />a. Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 6 of NTaltman Plat, and running thence <br />west 154.6 feet; thence north 66 feet; then ce east 153.9 feet to the west margin <br />of Harris Street; and thence south along the west margin of Harris Street a <br />di stanc e of 66 feet to the place of beginning . <br />b. Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 1, Tiff's Plat and running thence <br />east 446.12 feet; thence N. Olo 08~ E. 66 feet; thence West 446.12 feet to the <br />east margin of Alder Street; and thence South along the east margin of Alder Street <br />a distance of 66 feet to the place of beginning. <br />1 <br />Section 2. That to open said street, it will be necessary to acouire the land as shova7 <br />by said report and the City of Eugene does hereby determine to acqui re said land mentioned <br />and described in said report for the purpose of opening Twenty-fourth Avenue from Alder to <br />Harris Street in Eugene, Oregon. <br /> <br />
