<br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the paving of Tyler Street betvreen Eighth Avenue West
<br />and West Broadway, in the City of Eugene, Lane County-, Oregon.
<br />t~;REAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9017, passed by the
<br />said Common Council on the 9th day of June, 1947, and approved by the Mayor thereof on June 10,
<br />1947, determine to pave Tyler Street between Eighth Avenue 4dest and Ir3est Broadway, in the City
<br />of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon; and,
<br />'~THE.REAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance with
<br />said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided., and the costs thereof and amount to
<br />be assessed have been ascertained to be,
<br />
<br />Amount paid contractor, ~ 3975.72
<br />5~ Engineering charge 1 $.
<br />Amount assessed property ~ 4174.51
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the herein-
<br />after designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
<br />in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the
<br />City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 21st
<br />day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and
<br />remonstrances thereto and having flzlly considered the same.
<br />THE CITY OF ~.TGENE DOES ORDAIN AS ~LLONTS:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of paving Tyler Street between Eighth Avenue West and West
<br />Broadway, in the City of Eugene, is the sum of X64174.51, as aforesaid, vrhich is by this ordinance]
<br />assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set apposite,
<br />respectively.
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
<br />
<br />and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene , Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:
<br />1. WILLIAM R RILEY:
<br />Commending at a point 13$.9 feet South of a point 1759.96 feet East of a point.
<br />35 links South of the Northwest corner of the James Huddleston Donation Land
<br />claim in Township 17 South Range 4 West of the Willamette Meridian, in Lane
<br />County, Oregon, and running thence South 2 distance of about 152 feet to the
<br />North line of West Broadway, thence East along the North line of West Broadway
<br />,59.92 feet, thence North to a point due east of the point of beginning, thence
<br />West 59.92 feet to the point of beginning, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. X1071.08
