~3~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 9092 <br />AN ORDINANCE adopting the Report of the viewers upon the proposed opening of 24th <br />Avenue from Alder Street to Harris Street, in the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: J <br />Section 1. That the report of W. R. Robertson, Harvey L. Hilton and Clarence M. Urey, <br />as Viewers upon the proposed opening of 24th Avenue from Alder Street to Harris Street <br />in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, rr~.de and filed on the day of January, <br />1948, having been duly examined by the Common Council of-said City of Eugene, and said <br />report appearing to the Council to be in all respects reasonable and just, the same is '~ <br />~'I <br />hereby adopted as so made, in v~rords and figures following, to wit; N <br />~ e i~ <br />i That at the time and place appointed by the Conanon Council for a first meeting, ji <br />j to wits At the office of the City Recorder in the City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, on the ~~ <br />i ~,'~ <br />25th day of November, 1947, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. the members of the board, to wits ii <br />W. R. Robertson and Clarence M. Urey, met, and because of the absence off' the third ' <br />I `' <br />; member, Harvey L. Hilton, adjourned until the 26th day of November, 1947, at 9:30 '; <br />j R ~'~ <br />o'clock A.M. At this time, all the members, Mr. W. R. Robertson, Harvey L. Hilton, ~; <br />and Clarence M. Urey, met, took the oath of office and named Mr. W. R. Robertson as <br />i <br />Chairman. of the Board and therupon adjourned to view the property sought to be condemned, " <br />~; <br />together with the various properties, extending along Twenty-fourth Avenue as to the <br />benefits and damages they would received through the proposed opening of Twenty-fourth <br />Avenue from Alder Street to Harris Street in the City of Eugene, and called to their I', <br />~ assistance the City Engineer and examined the map prepared by him and all lots and it <br />i A <br />i acreages adjacent to the improvement, a.nd having carefully cons iderd the damages and ~~ <br />I <br />~~ benefits accruing to said properties by reason of the opening of said Twenty-fourth <br />i ~ i~, <br />Street, and have therefore assessed the damages that will accrue to the ].and and the ~~~ <br />~ persons hereinafter named and described, and having assessed all special benefits that ~' <br />d <br />i <br />i will accrue to private property in the vicinity of the proposed opening by reason of <br />the opening and extension of said street, the viewers found that the following lands are <br />i i <br />taken by the extension of said street and the owners thereof are damaged as shown, to wit; is <br />LANDS 1NHICH ARE TAKEN BY THE OPENING OF SAID STREET s: ~' <br />4. <br />~ NAME OF OWNER DESCRIPTION AMOUNT ~~, <br />~ Harlow E.
