~~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 91l~5 <br />An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a concrete walk on the North <br />side of Twen ty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and Mcn~iillan Street in the City of Eugene, Lane <br />County, Oregon. <br />V~HEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9133, passed <br />1 <br />by the said Common Council on the 12th day of April, 19l~8, and approved by the Mayor <br />thereof on the 13th day of April, 19lt8, determine to construct a concrete walk on the <br />North side of Twenty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and McR.4illan Street in the City of Eugene, <br />Lane County, Oregon, and <br />WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance <br />with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and <br />amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, <br />,Amount paid contractor $~ 188.t~5 <br />5~ engineering charge 9.42 <br />Amount assessed property ~ 197.87 <br />'NTHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the <br />hereinafter designated parcel of real property having:been heretofore duly and regularly <br />given and incompliance with the provisions of Ordinance Pdo. 1510, passed by the Common <br />Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191l~, and approved.. by the Adayor <br />thereof on the 20th day of April, 1911, and the Common Council having heard any and all <br />protests, ob3ections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same. <br />THE CITY OF EUGEPIE Dl?ES ORDAIN AS FOLIAWS: <br />Section 1. That the total cost of construction a concrete walk on the North side of <br />1 <br />Twenty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and ~eMillan Street in the City of Eugene is the sum <br />of X197.87 as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of pro- <br />party hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. <br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter- <br />mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: <br />1. R,ANDALL V . 3iILLS and HAZEL E . RiII.I,S : <br />Lot ,Block 2, ughs Second Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, <br />also a strip 10 feet aide along the entire East side of said lot. $197.87 <br />Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that <br />each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent <br />of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said <br />assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against <br />which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter <br />in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing; <br />First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such im- <br />i <br />provement. <br />i <br />
