<br />An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 81113 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
<br />"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some of Ii
<br />which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
<br />to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on ~I
<br />certain trades or callings, or within vrhich the height and bulk of future
<br />buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing ~'
<br />for a penalty for the violation thereof", passed by the Common Council '~I
<br />April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935• ~~'
<br />VPHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the 'City it

<br />Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has
<br />~,
<br />adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the j
<br />~;
<br />same to the City Council with recommendation. that the same be enacted into an Ordinance; ;I

<br />NOf~, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF L"UGE21E DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOTiIS: ~ !~~

<br />Section 1.. That Ordinance No. 8413, entitled: ~'
<br />"An Ordinance . to -create or divide the City into Districts within sane
<br />of which it shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be un- j
<br />lawful to erect,c onstruct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to - ~~
<br />carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk
<br />of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines,

<br />passed by the Common Council Apri1.,8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be, 'I
<br />and the same is hereby, amended in the following particulars:
<br />That the classification of:
<br />the entire block surrounded by East 17th and East 18th Avenues and
<br />Alder Street and Hilyard Street,
<br />be, and the same is hereby, designated as R-2 (Any size apartment) classification. ',~
<br />Also, that the classification of: ~ ~~

<br />Lots 19 and 20, Block 3, Riverwood Addition,
<br />~,
<br />be, and the same is hereby designated as I-2 (Light Industrial District) classification. 'I

<br />Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and he is hereby, directed to cause the map ~,
<br />attached to Ordinance No. 8413, to show the foregoing change of classification of areas
<br />i
<br />and to note thereon the rules with respect to buildings in R-2 (Any size apartment) ~j
<br />classification and I-1 (Light Industrial District) classifications. ,I
