!~~~ ORDINANCE N0. 9167 An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a concrete walk on the East side of Kincaid Street between Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth in front of 2723 Kincaid Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. tixTH1~.RE.AS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9146, passed by the said Common Council on the 10th da,y of May, 194$, aid approved by the Mayor thereof on the 11th day of May, 1948, determine to construct a concrete walk on the East side of Kincaid Street between Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth I~venue in front of 2723 Kincaid Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accox~l- ante with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor ~ 82.50 59 engineering charge 4.13 Amount assessed property ~v~.~3 bVHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcel of real property having been hereto fore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April., 1914, and approved by the Mayor thereof, on the 20th day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, ob3ections and remonstrances thereto and having fizlly considered the same. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a concrete walk on the East side of Kincaid Street betwreen Twenty-seventh and Tv~enty-eighth Avenue in front of 2723 Kincaid Street in the City of Eugene is the sum of X86.63 as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter- mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to wit: 1. ARNOLD L. EARNSHAV'~ and MAXINE EARNSHAW: Lot , ock 17, first dition to City Outlook, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. $86.63 Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does declare each and all of said assess- ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens a statemen t thereof containing; i 1
