~82 <br />extension of the time therefor be granted by the Common Council. The party whose bid is <br />accepted shalt also execute and delver to the city a good and suffici_er_t bond, with one <br />or more surities to be al~pr. owed by the Public ti~7orks Committee of the City, in an amount <br />equal to eighty per cent of his contract, price, as security for the faithful and satisfact- <br />cry fulfi llment of his contract. <br />Section ~.
