<br />An ordinance levying assessment for the paving; of Fifteenth Avenue ~~est between Lawrence
<br />and Washington Street, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />WHERF,AS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9056, passed by
<br />the said Common Council on the 8th day of ,September, 1917, and approved by the t~iayor thereof
<br />on the 9th day of September, 19l~7, determine to pave Fifteenth Avenue West between Lawrence
<br />and ~"lashington Street, in the City df Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
<br />WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance
<br />with said Ordinance and the larv in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
<br />amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,
<br />Amount paid contractor ~31~85.61
<br />5% Engineering Charge 171.28
<br />Amount Assessed 93659.89
<br />- ti91HEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the herein-
<br />after designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
<br />in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed b y the Common Council of the
<br />City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191J~, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th
<br />day of April, 191l~, and the Co~non Council having heard any and all protests, objections and
<br />remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same.
<br />THE CITY OF EUGEPIE DUES ORDAIN AS FULh~UV~(5:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of paving Fifteenth Avenue West between Lawrence and Wash-
<br />ington Street, in the City of Eugene, is 93,659.89, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance
<br />assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, re-
<br />spectively.
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
<br />and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:
