<br />An Ordinance levying assessment for the paving of the alley between Paterson and Hilyard
<br />Street from Broadvray to the Millrace in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon .
<br />V'JHER.EAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordx.nance No. 9101, passed by
<br />the said Common Council on the 9th day of February, 1918, and approved by the I~a.yor thereof on
<br />the 10th day of February, 191;8, determine to pare the alley between Patterson and Hilyard
<br />Street from Broadvray to the Millrace, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
<br />WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designatrad have been made in accordance
<br />with said Qrdinance and the lavr in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
<br />amouni; to be assessed have been ascertained to be,
<br />Amount paid contractor ~ 3851.93
<br />5~ Engineering charge 192.75
<br />Amount Assessed $~ 1~01~7.68
<br />WII;i;REAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the ovrners and reputed owners of the here-
<br />inafter designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
<br />in compliance with tfie provisions of Ordinance P1o. 110, passec by the Common Council of the
<br />City of Eugene on the 20th daz* of April, 1911, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th
<br />day of April, 19111, and the Common Council having heard ~~ndy and all protests, objections and
<br />remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same,
<br />THE CITY OF EjJG~NE DOES ORDAIN' AS FC?LLOWS:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of paving the alley between Patterson and Hilyard Street
<br />fmm Broadway to the Millrace, in the City of Eugene, is X1,017.68, as aforesaid, which is by
<br />this Ordinance assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount
<br />set opposite, respectively.
