<br />Section 2. That to open said street, it vrill be necessary to acquire the land as shown
<br />by sa~_d report and the City of Eugene does hereby determine to acquire said land mentioned
<br />and described in said report for th purpose of opening Thirteenth Avenue tiVest from Chambers
<br />Add3_tion to City Uiew Street and the opening of City View Str~=yet between Eleventh Avenue West
<br />and Eighteenth Avenue ~,~(est, in F,u~;ene, Oregon.
<br />Section 3. That ti":~. ft. Robertson, Harvey L. Hilton and Clarence p;Q. Urey, three disinter-
<br />ested free-holders of the City of Eu~-ene and each possessing the qualifications of jurors of
<br />the Circuit Court of the County of Lane, State of Uregon, are appointed as vievrers to view
<br />such proposed street and make an assessment of the damages and benefits as provided in Section
<br />4 of Chapter 92 of the Charter of the City of Eugene.
<br />section 4. That said vievrers are directed to meet on the 11th day of February, 1949,
<br />at 9:30 o'clock in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Eugene, and. the .City
<br />Recorder is directed to cause a notice to property ovine rs by publication for at least ten
<br />days successively prior to the said day assigned for said viewers to meet, in a newspaper
<br />published in the City of Eu(~ene, or by posting such notice in three public places, giving
<br />the names of and the time and place appointed for them to meet and specifying with convenient
<br />certainty the boundaries, termini or other description of the said proposed street, and the
<br />boundaries or other description of the parcels of private property to be appropriated for said
<br />purpose .
<br />Section 5. That the City Recorder is directed to s end by mail postpaid, a copy of each
<br />notice to each of the property otivners whose property is proposed to be appropriated or to the
<br />agent of such ovmer ~vY~re the postoff.ice address of such ovmer or agent is known to him, and
<br />if such postoffice address be unknown to him, then such notice shall b~~ directed to such owner
