The Common Colancil of the City of Eu~ e ne hereby initiates vacation pro- <br />ceedings on its -o'r~4 atuthor~_ty vrithout petiiti on or consent of the property oumers, excepting <br />as provided by statutes, of the following described property.; to-wit; <br />Mill Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addi_tim <br />Ferr~,r Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addition <br />Patterson Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addition <br />Alley in Block 37 Driverton Addition <br />Alley in Block 38 Driverton Addition <br />Alley in Block 39 Driverton Additi~~n <br />Secti~ 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate said premises as <br />herein provided, and said hearing shall be held on the 28th day of March, 1949, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. of said da,y, at which time all persons vri_11 be heard upon objectiohs <br />said <br />or suggestions with reference to the vucati.on of said protion of said street and atntime <br />fie Council-will provide for the vacation of said premises or cdeny such vacation, and in <br />case the vacation i_s made vrill make provisions for any damages sustained by local assess- <br />men t . <br />Cectirn 3. The City Recorder be~,and }-~ is hereb~T, required to immediately publish <br />1 <br />for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Eu€;es,~e, Lane County, (Tfregon, notice <br />of the:propo§ed vacati.on. Sueh notice s~nalZ give the description of the area to be vacated <br />as herein set ol;t, and state the date when this ordinance eras passed; the name of any pe- <br />tits -~ners p~ titioning for said vacation; the date when the said petition, together vrith <br />an4T objections or remonstrances ti~zchmaybe made i.nvaritin~; and filed with the City Record- <br />er prior to the dat e of said hearing, will be heard and considered. <br />Section 4.
