Euga~e, Oregon, by installation of integral curb concrete pad~ing" <br />or asphaltic c rncrete .paving with combination curb and butter, and grading and drainage <br />thereof, <br />THE CITY .OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That the Common Council of .the Cityy of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve Aldei° Street b etween ~ety~fourth Avenue and ~nmety-fifthcAvenue <br />in the Cit}* of s',ugene, dragon, by installation::of integral curb conrete paving, or <br />asphaltic poncrete paving with combination curb and gutter, and grading and drainage <br />thereof, • <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly ved street all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared bypt~ie city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by .the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract price therefor., arri not to exceed 5~ of the c ontract pri ce to oover t he cost of <br />interest on warrants, advertising, stage and supplies for mailing notices of assessments. <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to ma~e and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
