~~+~ <br />I ~ <br />I1~PROVEl~d~l\TT ORDINANCE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9291 <br />An Ordinance to improve University Street from the north line o,f Lot ?~, Block 21t of <br />First Addition to City Outlook to Trne~ty-eig~it#r Avenue, in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon, by installation of integral curb concrete paving, or asphaltic concrete .- <br />paving with combination curb and gutter, and grading and drainage thereof, <br />THE CITY .OF EUGENE .DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, does hereby declare <br />its intention to improve University Street from the Plorth line of Lot !~, Block 21~ of <br />First Addition to City Outlook to Twenty-eighth Avenue, in the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon, by installation of integral c urb concrete paving, or asphaltic concrete <br />paving with oo~bination curb and gutter, and grading drair_age thereof, <br />and making such other and further improvements in connection therewith as .may be necessary and proper <br />to a properly Paved street all in accordance with the plans and specifica- <br />tions to be prepared by the city engineer as hereinafter specified. <br />Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be borne by the property adjacent <br />to said improvement, except street intersections whichwill be paid for by .the city, and there shall be included <br />as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon not to exceed five per cent <br />of the contract price therefor, and not to exceed 5~ of the contract price to cover the cost of <br />interest on vuarrants, advertisin~~ postage and supplies for mailing notices of asses <br />Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare plans and specifications for <br />the said improvement as provided in Section One of this Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder. <br />Section 4.
